The Value of Simulation-based Education to Medical Liability Insurance Providers

This 2017 ACS Simulation Series article outlines how liability insurers can affect the value proposition of simulation-based education by helping to identify specific areas in greatest need of improvement.


The study highlights how “Data from liability insurers are often more detailed and revealing than those obtained from hospital investigations.” The CRICO Strategies national Comparative Benchmarking System (CBS) database was cited as an example.
