Analyzing CRICO Strategies national CBS data, this study looked at OB-related claims that involved communication failures. The researchers identified that communication failures between provider and provider and/or between provider and patients vary throughout the management of pregnancy, labor, and delivery.
The study was presented at the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology annual congress and is available in its journal.
