Medical Professional Liability (MPL) Insurance

CRICO's MPL policy offers unparalleled protection for claims alleging medical negligence. We insure the organizations and physicians affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Non-physician employees (including nurses) are automatically covered under their employer’s policy. 

Features of our policy:

• Defense expenses are covered outside of policy coverage limits
• Coverage is worldwide
• Moonlighting is covered automatically for all staff physicians and may be extended for residents and fellows 
• Good Samaritan acts covered
