As Vice President of Underwriting & Reinsurance, Melissa Kemp is responsible for developing underwriting strategy and driving implementation of strategic and operational objectives. She oversees underwriting policy development, risk assessment, and risk intelligence gathering in response to emerging and existing risks. Melissa leads the reinsurance efforts overseeing all aspects of the CRICO reinsurance program including annual strategic planning, program renewal, and management of key reinsurance relationships, which maintains CRICO’s strong standing with its key markets.
Ms. Kemp has more than twenty years of insurance experience in a variety of roles that include underwriting management, project management and strategy development. She holds an MBA from Boston College and maintains an active CPA license.
