RADAR: A Closed-loop Quality Improvement Initiative Leveraging A Safety Net Model for Incidental Pulmonary Nodule Management

Researchers created a quality improvement (QI) initiative between radiologists and primary care physicians titled RADAR. The RADAR System is an automated results notification system which helps to close the loop on communications, as well as assist in developing a collaborative follow up care plan. This study aimed to assess whether patients with incidental pulmonary nodules (IPNs) received proper follow up care.
