Navigating Risks in Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment

CRICO Strategies and The Doctors Company undertook this analysis knowing that, with the exception of skin cancer, breast cancer remains the most common cancer among American women.


To identify risks associated with the diagnosis and treatment of breast cancer and provide insights into potential vulnerabilities for providers and patients, CRICO Strategies and The Doctors Company partnered on a detailed analysis of 562 breast cancer medical malpractice claims from 2009 to 2014 in the CRICO Strategies Comparative Benchmark System (CBS).
