Series 1: Mitigating Diagnostic Risks in Primary Care

Approximately half of CRICO’s malpractice cases occur in the ambulatory setting, and about one-quarter of those cases involve a missed or delayed diagnosis of cancer.

This series provides primary care providers a unique opportunity to learn about:

  • Up-to-date screening recommendations for breast, colon, lung, and prostate cancers
  • Quality improvement initiatives created by CRICO-insured physicians to improve screening and follow up
  • Key strategies to reduce your risk of being sued for a failure to diagnose cancer

Each one-hour recorded webinar includes a brief test. A personalized CME certificate is issued upon successful completion.
