Margaret (Maggie) Janes, RN, JD is the Senior Program Director for the Patient Safety and Education department at CRICO. In this role she provides consultative services to several CRICO-insured organizations and oversees CRICO’s Primary Care Office Practice Evaluation Program. She has a wealth of patient safety and risk management expertise and provides detailed analysis of medical malpractice claims with a specific focus on Primary Care.
Ms. Janes received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Boston College and a law degree from Albany Law School. Prior to joining CRICO, Ms. Janes worked at Boston Children’s Hospital for over 13 years as a nurse in the Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Unit and as a Patient Safety Coordinator in the Program for Patient Safety and Quality.
Maggie is the patient safety liaison for the following organizations: Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center- Milton, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center –Needham, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center- Plymouth
