After acquiring a suburban community hospital and with plans for continued growth, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center engaged CRICO Strategies in 2012 to conduct a Risk Appraisal and Planning Process (RAP) to understand and address the patient safety implications of network expansion. The Doctors Company (TDC)
As a member of Comparative Benchmarking System (CBS), The Doctors Company employs CRICO's taxonomy to code its medical malpractice claims. TDC’s closed claims study on Cardiology provides a wonderful example of the insights available through deep coding analysis of claims data. The findings are available on TDC’s website.
The Medical Protective Company (MedPro Group)
MedPro Group uses CRICO’s proprietary coding taxonomy to code their claims, and published this thoughtful report on general surgery.
MMIC is the largest policyholder-owned medical liability insurance company in the Midwest.
