CRICO/RMF Strategies Symposium Boston Marriott Cambridge Cambridge, Massachusetts Monday-Tuesday, September 8-9, 2008
Thank you for your interest. Due to an overwhelming response, registration is now closed.
Analysis of malpractice claims indicates that many errors in medical care are those that can be reduced via simulation-based training and teamwork skills—tools that are rapidly moving from the fringes of medical education to the center.
We invite you to join us at the intersection where these two education concepts meet to form an extraordinarily effective focal point for improving patient safety. Learn how simulation-based team training is finding its way into an expanding array of applications across a variety of health care settings. Sign up for one of Monday’s “road trips” to see first-hand how Harvard-affiliated simulation centers create a credible, safe, and enduring learning environment.
Over two days, nationally renowned experts will discuss specific clinical applications of simulation-based team training and tease out best practices, key relationships, and successful development and implementation strategies. Attendees will have the opportunity to assess their organizations’ safety climates and their readiness to implement these concepts. Interactive panel discussions will address the relative advantages of different types of simulation centers and the processes behind successful simulation-based team training curricula.
