Using Medical Malpractice Claims Data to Improve Healthcare Quality, Safety, and Cost

CRICO President and CEO Mark E. Reynolds, in a 22+ minute video, is interviewed by Business of Healthcare (BOH) Mission & Margin host/producer Matthew E. Hanis.


Reynolds shares CRICO’s history and mission, and offers insight into the company’s captive insurance program, which in addition to serving its members’ medical professional liability (MPL) insurance and other needs, also provides a comparative database representing approximately 30 percent of all MPL claims in the United States.

In addition, the BOH interview highlights how CRICO’s powerful claims analytics and resulting patient safety awareness and solutions, ultimately help improve the “mission and margin” of health care overall.
