One-on-one site mentorship allows fellows to participate in hospital administration, community policy making, and personal projects with continuous and valuable input from senior leadership.

CRICO’s vision in funding this program was to expose clinicians to the nuances between risk, quality, and safety through the lens of malpractice. We hope to learn how to implement broad-reaching interventions that will have a dynamic impact on improving patient safety and quality.

Patient Safety & Quality Fellow Bios

The primary goal of the HMS Fellowship in Patient Safety & Quality is to train a select group of individuals to lead operational improvement initiatives. The CRICO-funded, two-year postgraduate program is offered to physicians who are currently in, or have completed, a residency or fellowship program.

Meet Our Current & Alumni Fellows

Developed in collaboration with HMS, the first year of this fellowship began in 2012. Subsequent new classes are launched annually on July 1st. Class listings and bios for our fellows, including the current status of our alumni are available below.
