Since its inception in 2003, the Risk Management Foundation (RMF)/Healthcare Safety Research Institute (HSRI) research grant program, has annually awarded funding to several Harvard-affiliated medical institutions for their patient safety projects. The grants were made possible by RMF's Controlled Risk Insurance Company (CRICO) Board.
